Welcome to the Mandurah Surf Life Saving Club Website.
We are known as the 21st Club of 29 Clubs in Western Australia and are located at Eros Reserve, Orestes Street, San Remo in Mandurah.
Originally formed in 1996 as Peel Surf Life Saving Club at Halls Head. The club patrolled various locations in Mandurah. Renamed Mandurah Surf Life Saving Club in 2000 and subsequently relocated from Pyramids Beach to San Remo in 2003. Mandurah progressed from a probationary club to an affliliated club of Surf Life Saving Western Australia in April 2005.
As a Club, our primary role is to patrol the beach and maintain a safe beach environment.
In 2006 the Club was awarded third place by Surf Life Saving WA in the Club of the Year award at the awards of excellence, and in 2009 the Club was awarded 2nd place in the "Laerdal Patrol Club of the Year".
We provide education, training, surf sports, competition and family fun for all ages from 5 years of age.
Our members are volunteers and there are many areas that you can be involved in.
The club has now secured funding for a clubhouse. Construction is proposed in early 2012 and the facility is expected to be operational by late 2012/early 2013 (subject to council and DPI approvals).
